Khay Minn Lum, Piano & Group Music Teacher

Khay is dedicated in fostering a love of music in others through teaching. Khay has worked with young children taking their first steps in music to adults seeking to rekindle their passion for the piano. She has worked in various settings, including private lessons, group classes and music camps. She finds immense satisfaction in sharing her knowledge to nurture their musical growth. Khay’s teaching style is patient, encouraging, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.

Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Khay discovered a love for music at a young age. Starting piano lessons at the age of five. She met her mentor Elaine Pao that inspired her to further studies in music. Khay is a graduate of National Taiwan University of Art with a bachelor of Arts, major in music, under the guidance of renowned pianist, Yi Fan-Chiang.

Khay is also an active member of choir. She performed works like Mass in B minor by J.S Bach, Nabucco by Verdi, Carmina Burana by Carl Orff and etc in National Concert Hall in Taiwan. She also participated Dmitri Bashkirov masterclass in Internation Summer Academy Mozarteum in Salzburg.
